Old Vs New

So I finally got the bike dyno tuned after the new swap. I took it to Indy Ducati and let Matt work his magic. I am definitely geeked with the results. I wish I still had the dyno chart from when it was a 600 in 08. This bike has had a different motor every season since I bought it in 08. Can't wait for next year!

after looking through his posts, it appears he went from his 600cc and swaped in a 750cc, then he put in a 05 1000cc. I Think the dyno numbers look pretty good!! Also the first dyno graph is run up to 14k rpm and the second drops off at 12k rpm.

Sorry I did not put up anymore information, I was strapped for time last night. I bought the bike as a 600 in 08 with 900 miles on it. I put 6,000 miles on it that summer and swapped it to a 750 in the winter. That is what the first dyno graph is from. At the time it had the 05-06 1k header, 05-06 M4 Gp slip on, velocity stacks, and a Bmc race filter.

The second graph is from my new setup. I finally got all of the bugs worked out, and got it tuned. I put in a 05 Gsxr 1k motor using the Hybrid Racing motor mount kit. I used the same ignition, headlight harness, hand controls, gauge cluster fuel pump and radiator. The only thing I used off of the 1k was the ecu, harness, and air box. Currently I have a Bmc filter, and a M4 Gp slip on tuned with a Pc3 by Indy Ducati.

Nice . Just wondering what year was the 750 motor . The HP #'s about the same as my K3 but my torq was 72 ft-lbs .

numbers are low for a 05 1k... should be around 155-57. i can get 165 outta a stock one with some burberry in the tank. and a reallll good tune and my timing maps in the ecu. put a head on it and ill put you in the high 180s....

if theres one thing drag racers know...its horse power :D

not only that..but if that the 14 line on the fuel then its pretty lean...should be in the 12.8-13.2 range above 8000 for the best power

heres a chart from one we did the other night. i know the torque is a little down...but this was PRE TUNE (you can see all the dips in the power curves where it needed fuel)... consider the following,

it was 88 degrees when this pull was made. the bike just came off the street and was 210 on the dyno
the humidity was in the 40th percentile
the bike is stretched and is pulling quite a bit more weight in chain than factory.
with 21k on the clock (albeit lower gearing) the injectors have never been cleaned

even still the HP is more than you got, while the torque is 6 off....but be assured, after the bike was tuned, we put 87 in the tank (not even the burberry), and i corrected the factory timing maps....it went up considerably.

I know the numbers are both "low" for what some people may expect, but every dyno is different. I always get my bikes tuned by Matt at Indy Ducati, and I know his dyno reads low. I have taken the 750 to a local dyno shootout and it pulled 128 on there dyno. The intention of this post was not to boast about my numbers, it was to show how much of an increase I am over last year. I am pretty happy with a increase of 29hp and 20tq. As far as the max hp numbers I could care less, its all about how it feels on the street!
