OK, question. Based on the recall notification Suzuki will offer reimbursement for parts/labor spent to resolve the "spongy brake" issue that led to the current recall (below excerpt from recall bulletin). If I purchase a brembo Master cylinder and have it installed could I get reimbursed for that??
It also mentions prior repairs. Does this mean that it is only able to be reimbursed if the repairs took place prior to the recall notice?

Will Suzuki reimburse me for prior repairs to address the defect that resulted in this recall?
•
Yes, but only for repairs related to this campaign, and not for routine maintenance
Only repairs made to address the defect that led to this recall are reimbursable. Additional expenses
such as towing, car rental, accommodations, damage repa
irs, etc., will not be reimbursed.
Reimbursement will not be provided for routine scheduled maintenance.
Reimbursement may be limited to the suggested list price for parts, the Suzuki published flat rate time
allowance for the repair, and the labor rate th
at an authorized Suzuki dealer in the same area would
charge for the same repair.
An owner will not be eligible for reimbursement if the expenses for repairs are incurred more than 10
days after the date of the last owner notification letter sent by Suzuki
Motor of America, Inc.
Reimbursement claims may also be excluded when in adequate documentation is not submitted by the claimant.

der, and proof of payment for the repair
